One reason mine came on and I couldn't turn it off is because I'd lost air in one of my tyres, the levelling system turned my ESP off because the car was unbalanced and the ESP would constantly hesitate the cars power if it would have stayed on?

I had it on mine too, it's the G201 pressure sensor on the ABS unit.

It's about £485 fix, but if you have a full seat history - they'll pay 50% and then leave you/or your warranty with the rest.

Thank you for the info regarding full SEAT service history and 50% cover in kind. Having mine repaired tomorrow for £270 (good price?) - saved me a fortune. Although Im slightly suspecious that the ABS sensor unit failed a day or two after having all pads and discs replaced on the front

A HUGE thank-you from me as well...

Had the car diagnosed and it was the dreaded g201 electrical fault - so I took it to the local SEAT garage and they quoted me £575.00

The car is only 3 and 1/2 years old, and 18,500 miles - so I phoned SEAT customer services expecting 50% ( and hoping for 70% )

They phoned me back 2 hours later, and after speaking to the garage they have paid for the FULL repair.
