Any reason why a set of alloys that are et35 won't go on my Leon Cupra? Won't clear the caliper, thought et35 would be more than enough. Don't wanna fork out for hubcentric spacers, as they will be more than the wheels are worth. Could i get away with a 10mm shim spacer without having to use extended bolts?

ET is not the determining factor for clearing brembo calipers.
wheel design and spoke clearance is

as per this dwg, you will need 50mm Caliper Clearance to get wheels over LCR brembos

^^ It's a Cupra Bill? Would've thought ET35 would've cleared? Any pics of the spoke design?

spoke design still prevails
on cupra's the calipers are sliding calipers to their width will be bigger with new pads than with worn ones

I dont know the dimension for clearance for these tho

they must be a very inset spoke design.. if thats whats touching the calipers

as above spke design is a massive factor on cleanance, offset is a factor, but of the design is deep set then this give less clearance.
You can have 10 sets of alloys, all with the same offset, some will clear, some wont.

Offset is important for how the wheel sits in the arches.

Are they definatly ET35? theres quite a gap between the standard 16's and the caliper so the spokes must have a hell of a dish to catch?
