BONNET FELT FRESHEN UP:

Nothing major really but after being declined for warranty on the Bonnet felt sagging cause by the water leaking through

Old vs new

Then new one fitted with new clips 6L6853575 which have the sponge washer. Also cleaned this area and taped up sone drain holes with ducktape. No pics but this is it fitted. Alot nicer and fresher!

All this was done at 7am! At about 5 degrees.

Dbilas removal and brand new standard air box on:

Different plans ment that this was needing to be removed and sold. I have had a new airbox since buying the car last year. Looks great being new n all.

Also changed the plugs and cam follower at 29k.

absolutely love that colour on the Ibiza..saw one at specialist cars a couple weeks ago, so tempted to ask for a swap!

It might have been mine to be honest... It's galia blue which as far as I am aware isn't an option on a Cupra but the garage I bought it from said it was specially ordered in that colour.

bit of a update... nothing has really changed with either car to be honest

but both were prescent at crail for the national meet, ibiza was on the revo section despite being 100% standard but was there to make numbers.

the leon was machine polished by kat a week before the meet but i have yet to get the pics from my camera... some good amount of correction for the small time on the car.

ibiza stayed parked up, did about 4 runs down the 1/4 mile in the leon managed a 14.0 @104mph (light ans slightly sticky)

the leon was vinyl wrapped at the front to give the cupra look again. i like it and i dont.... but it will stay for now
