S800- cheers the td's are a brilliant wheel and together with the 888's were a dream combo, I'm lucky to have a good mate who lent them to me!

Which OEM wheels you got min? I agree that those R32 wheels didna much suit the car when fitted. What I am keen to know is how much scuffage you got at the front with ET42's. I got scuffage when pushing on with the ET45's.

42et was fine min, zero scuffing and it looked so much better! But that's with winter tyres so was never pushed etc

They were both on the car when I bought it. They make a difference to appearance

I seen on mk5 that you mentioned the black front bumper part, al has his wrapped and it looks great. Makes it a lot more aggressive

Tried it a while back but without taking the lower grill off its too much of an odd shape, didnt fancy breaking the grill trying to take it off either, lol.

Get a specialist to do it, his has been on for about a year and a half already and still looks like new

I can do the vinyl wrapping mate, just dont know how to remove the grill.

They never removed his grill either but we're able to get it trimmed well upto the edge

Same here, only other wheels I've ever seen on mk1 Leon that I like is BBS CH, but only in gunmetal and only on a platinum grey car - see rsmith's for what I mean. As for winters, it was funny the number of BMWs I saw tooling about on steelies this year!

Yeh I know what you mean, they have a purpose I can understand that but if you have a nice car steelies are just wrong! The ibizas winter wheels and tyres are superb and the car still retains its niceness (despite the fact that we have decided that the Ibiza has to leave the fleet)

The Leon's problem, is the same as the mk1 really is the massive front brakes which isn't a bad thing! Haha

Oh and Clark from polished bliss used to have a red mk1 lcr with ch's and it was stunning, but one wheel that suits all Is the td pro race wheel

Fair point actually about the TD Pro Race wheels, have seen a couple of pics on here of them on mk1's. Yeah right enough I do remember seeing a pic of Clark's LCR too, I stand corrected
