Exact size + Ohm of Seat Altea Speakers

Hey all, does anyone know the exact size and ohm of the speakers in the altea?

I am wanting to buy some speakers and want to make sure I get the best ones.

they are 16cm ones,but you will need to buy golf mk 5 holders for them (Around £12 a pair off ebay) you then need to trim the holders a bit to fit! thread round here somewhere,hang on.....

2 Ohm seem to be the way to go and they will get the most out of the car stereo.

I have ordered some JBL speakers, cant stretch to the Infinity at the moment.

hey there altea have already very good speakers but i changed them too :p look the bEst you can do its that modified all your door panels it cost to me 20 euro per door.make holes for 6x9 speakers and bought something like that they are good and cheap emimikos.gr/shop/product.php?productid=23216
now bridged back door speakers and send the cables to the amp 125w 4ch is very good and now if u want subwoofer do exactly what i do i have an Pioneer Sub 400 w and i bought ebay.com/itm/Car-PC-300W-Hi-Fi-MP3-MP4-Speaker-Amplifier-Stereo-AMP-/220377172785?pt=US_Home_Audio_Amplifiers_Preamps&hash=item334f80cb31 thisone i bridged front door speakers and i connect it to this amp at bass output. if u want you can connect 2 more 6x9 in 300 w output but be carefull it must be 400w :) . my car is amazing right now evryone like to come with me they love my clean and toooo loud sound

tbh anything is better than standard , i am not sure if the stock head unit will like running 2 ohm it may get a bit hot ?

as others have said get the ring adaptors and cut the surround down with a jigsaw , i found that the mounting holes for the rings can be a bit small for the t20 screws so open them up with a 10mm spade drill to make the screws fit all the way down & dont forget to cut & tape up the loop feed to the in door tweeter
