Hi,

I have a '59 Exeo St and work have given me a new HTC Touch HD phone/pda running windows mobile 6.1.

When I first connected it to the bluetooth it copied my phone book to the car kit ok.

It has now lost all my contacts on the cars memory apart form the ones I added voice dialling to.

I have deleted the pairing from the phone and re-connected. The bluetooth then asks for access to my contacts which I allow but it does not copy them across.

I have deleted all contacts in the bluetooth phone book and repaired again but this has not fixed the issue.

Could somebody please assist me as to how I may fix this, I'm not sure if this is a comparability issue or not.

Many Thanks:confused:

From what I know of my BT pairing with my HTC Magic, it reads the phone-book directly off the phone, and doesn't 'copy' it across to the car at all......

I've recorded a couple of voice-dial's, but normally just navigate to the contact on my phone's phone-book using the left hand buttons/wheel on the steering-wheel.

Sorry I can't be of much help!

Hi Andy,

Thanks for your reply.

I was able to navigate my phone book using the left hand buttons/wheel but now it does not seem to be reading my contacts!!

I have deleted my voice dial's so it is completely blank but it still does not read them.

Once again thanks for your reply.

Hi Guys

New to the site.......................... I'm attempting to connect a Nokia 6303 to an Exeo bluetooth kit. Unfortunately haven't got the cars user manual. Can anyone tell me how its done?

From the manual, instructions on how to 'bond' the phone to the mobile phone interface in the car (only needs to be done once):

i, switch the ignition on
ii, select the appropriate option on you mobile phone to search for bluetooth compatible devices (i.e. the mobile interface in the car)
iii, connect the phone to the mobile phone interface. Your mobile phone interface will use the name "SEAT XXXX" when it connects with the mobile phone
iv, enter the PIN for handfree mode "1234" on the mobile phone interface within 30secs
v, wait until you mobile phone indicates it has bonded.

Hope that helps ;)

Thanks andyj

Without the manual I had stupidly been presuming that the passcode for pairing was the XXXX in SEAT XXXX when the phone finds the bluetooth device.
All working fine now.

Hello All,

New to the forum and just bought a Seat Exeo which barr a bit of cobbled tyre noise I am really impressed with so far.

Sorry bringing up an old thread but I'm struggling with my bluetooth in the standard radio setup. I have connected my phone (Samsung S3) to it no problem thanks to the advise on this thread but I'm at a loss as to how to control it, whether it be voice activated or steering wheel controls. The most I've got so far is saying redial to call my last number but apart from that I'm having to use my phone to control what I do incl making calls, ending calls, looking through my phonebook etc. It asked whether I want to transfer across my phonebook to which I approved but I've not a clue what it's done, if anything. I've had a look through the owners manual and audio manual back to front and it has given me nothing from what I can see.

If someone could shed some light on this or have a pdf that I can look through it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
