Hi all
does anyone know if you can switch on a dlr function on the exeo i have found a place in the settings that states 3 options but i can not get any to work i think the options were fog light dipped beam and high beam
thanks phil

hi not that i have found mine is just the sport tech with halogen lights 2011 spec is
phil

My old 61 plate SE Tech has a little switch like Nath says, to the right of the steering wheel.

Did all Exeos have DRLs? I don't remember 60 plate SE Lux I had on demo having them. I may be wrong.

Hi Dave i am not sure i can not see a switch near the steering wheel but it has settings in the programing but i can not get them to activate what light did yours have fitted
thanks
phil

It's like a little push button and is marked DRL and has a I and 0 setting.

The SE Tech I had (still have, it's gone to another department) had optional bi xenons but non LED DRLs.

hi dave mine doses not have this switch but has options in the cent elect with vcds but i can not get it to work

If you have halogen headlight you don't have the DRL as far as I know.

You might want to play with the following settings:
1. In Central Electronics - Coding set this: Halogen Headlights with Daytime Running Lights
2. In Central Electronics - Adaptation play with this setting: Channel 005: Daytime Running Lights Dimming (Low Beam)
3. In Central Electronics - Adaptation play with this setting: Channel 008: Daytime Running Lights

See here: http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/Seat_Exeo_(3R)_Central_Electronics

Another option is to use the blinkers in the headlights (US Lights option somewhere).
In this case the blinkers will be on continuously.
This is at own responsability as it is probably not legal in the UK too.

.::EDIT::.

Further I think you have to make some changes to the wiring of the car.
The headlight switch has a connector on the back and one of the pins is called TFL which is the German short for DRL.
On the German Seat Exeo website is a guide in PDF format written for an Audi which describe the changes that have to be made: http://www.seatforum.de/forum/showthread.php?t=235461

hi what will i need to do with the settins as it is in % and has any one any idea what the % values change
thanks phil

If you change the brightness of the LEDs you will lower their life! The brightness is pretty good from factory! Lighting homologation is one of my many jobs, trust me the Germans gt it spot on!
