Plates were europl8 iirc via eBay, it's German din font.

I never bothered with the 19s, the wife has to park in more car parks than me and drives in more traffic and due to being nearly hit by a bus one of the oe rims is already grazed...

The spoiler part number is 3R9071650 it's about £180 plus the cost of spraying and fitting,

Think I saw this yesterday about 1:30pm going over Boots bridge in Beeston Rylands, think it was your wife driving.

Well nothing has really changed on this since we got the car other than normally stuff like new tyres etc, and updating the nav unit.

however after a string of VWs as our other main car we now have a 62 plat mk2 Leon! I will post up photos etc once it has had a full clean etc but already on order are the pressed plates and holders, the key cover, it will be de-badged in a week or so, and the RNS315 is coming very soon! plus I have been busy playing with VCDS, so far:

Optical parking on the RCD310,
fogs coded as the DRLs (not sure if this one will stay),
digital speedo added,
hazard flashing for emergency braking,
Bluetooth module changed for a 2014 version I had from my last rocco so it doesn't make the annoying noise when it connects!

and I will keep playing and see what else I can turn on and add,

Was your tow bar factory fitted do you know? ie does it have a removable panel in the rear bumper to get to where it is fitted. Mine seems to have oe parts but was never factory specced to have the tow bar hence the bumper had just been cut.

If yours has the removable panel is there any chance you can take some photos of the rear bumper with and without the panel in place, so i can see whether it is worth the £140 to replace the rear diffuser.

Thanks in advance

Yep factory fit, I'll get some photos for you at the weekend as away from the car at the moment. It's a very neat install and worth not having the cut on display. Is the £140 dealer prices? If so try TPS if there's one local to you?

Sorry I remembered this morning before I left for work I hadn't taken any photos yet, sorry they arent great but I'm out when its dark and back when it's dark, and the wife has this car mostly,

You can just see where the cut out is from behind when the panel is not in place, but with it in place you would never know it was there unless you got down close.

It is well worth the money and is that £140 from the dealer? if so find your local Trade Parts Specialist and cut out the middle man (it's even better if you know some one with an account.. depending where you are I have an account at my local TPS in Derby so I can always get you a price)

In other news I have been busy with the Leon..

in the last 6 weeks or so:

RNS315 fitted (annoyingly the Seat one I found that was a media 2.2 so full post code was buggered, so ended up with a VW version, but still with full postcode.. the only down side is VW start screen, and when I reverse it thinks the car is a passat.. but I can live with that).

I did fit the GPS in the dash, on top of one of the that leads to the centre air vents, (where it had perfect signal, normally getting 15 or so Sats, with 10 - 13 being used). This has now been changed due to the DAB aerial I originally fitted - a screen mount one being good around town etc, but in some bits of the country side there was no signal, so I went and got the OE roof mount from TPS which replaces the stock radio aerial with a FM, DAB and GPS unit. The GPS is still seeing the same amount of Sats as I have checked on my way to work, but the DAB is now giving good signal pretty much all the time, and so far hasn't dropped out. plus it looks OE which i what I really wanted.

I have also fitted my Heko wind deflectors,

Replaced the Xenon bulbs with another set of Osram OE ones, so not chav blue, but a nice bright white. The old ones hadn't blown but they do age and I believe it is recommended that they are changed every so many years. I can tell now after a couple of weeks use that they are better than the ones I took out - They take a little while to burn in and reach their peak, the longer you can leave them running at a time the better when you first install them.

I have also de-badged the car, bar the FR badges that the wife wanted leaving,

Changed the DRLs back to the OE place as it didnt look right on the fogs, even though my mk6 golf and rocco did,

Finally fitted pressed plates and holders,

Done the bonnet scuttle mod to stop it leaking and changed the sound deadening,

and that is it bar changing the unlock/ lock switch which packed up, and the center trim it sits in as it was scratched.

New shiney aerial base with GPS

Fitting the new aerial was fun! head lining drop at the back was a PITA and then I ran 2 female - female Fakra leads down the passeger C pillar, down the arch, along the sill and then up the A pillar and through the dash, a fun couple of hours taking the car apart! but it did leave a neat OE looking install so I am happy.

Thanks for the images, much appreciated. While getting the car MOT'd at a mate's garage I mentioned in passing the issues i'd been having with the local dealers. I gave him the part number and he rang TPS while he was on the phone I got him to order me one. We were quoted 5-10 working days as it was on back order plus 2-3 days once in stock. However I received a picture message from the garage of it sat on their office desk 4 days after I had ordered it. The dealers quoted £120 + Vat so worked out at £144 + odd pence . I think when I finally get a chance to pick it up it'll cost me £109. Then is the matter of fitting it.

Again thanks for your help

Where did you get your number plate holders from? I want a pair of Seat ones, but I don't want Seat Sport or Cupra, as per most of the UK ebay ones.

Both cars were eBay, the exeo ones are from 2012 when the car was new however I can not find them any more which is annoying as I really liked the fact they were proper dealer style ones. If I find them again i will be bulk buying them that's for sure.
