Heya mate it should be a ok but you'll find the EML will come on because the cat will be removed so it won't be reading from Lambda sensors.

I believe you need an angled spacer to sort the issue but I maybe getting confused between decat / sports cats

Bear in mind the car won't pass an MOT without the cat either or if you get pulled

On the bright side though, More power :D

Will need a spacer to keep eml at bay.

Yeah I kinda had a feeling something like that would happen! Wanted to replace the downpipe first because I heard that's the most restrictive part of the exhaust? Is that true?

Cheers Googu I couldn't remember which way round it was or which needed the spacer :)

I believe that'd be true that that'd be the restrictive part so yes.

My only concern would be the size of the OEM piping because if you're not careful you may find pressure building up which travel backwards back up the piping

With that being said I couldn't give you a certain answer as I don't know enough about turbo cars to say something then it be completely wrong but the above it what I'd be thinking

With that being said though you could get a Toyosports full system inc decat for less than £300 so certainly not expensive compared to the Milltek's etc

Here you go mate :)

I believe they're 2.5 and 2.25 inch pipework or similar as opposed to the 3 inch piping but as a bargain priced exhaust I don't think you can go too far wrong :)

You can pick up some good deals on ebay from people breaking their cars as well..

Yeah I've been looking but as I've just got the cupra and not the cupra r I don't think the exhaust is the same

I think I made the Wong decision of getting a lc instead of a LCR lol oh well

Try insuring an R compared to the LC ;)

I suspected the LC would be boring but for what it is I can't really knock it, I've debadged mine etc so it's a proper sleeper, as it's the prefacelift it's on 16's and everything,

Looks like s**t but goes like s**t off a shovel

That ryan6926 is a very good find! Thank you alot for that! Been looking for a while for exhausts and think you've gone and solved my problem

Yeah it's just the front bumper I'm not too keen on just doesn't look as nasty as it should, but I agree on the power! Very pleased with that! As I went from a saxo vtr to this happy chappy indeed aha

No worries at all mate they should certainly be good enough for what you need, Just grab yourself one of these while you're there and you'll be well away ;)

I used to have a Saxo VTR as well but came from a few Jap cars :)

I maybe wrong but the Saxo's more fun to throw around than the Leon but the Leon just feels a lot better to drive and much more effortless to overtake with without sounding like it's going to blow it's engine to smithereens :D

As mentioned you'll need a lambda spacer, I know it's an angled one but I can't remember the thread size :(

Happy birthday for next month and have a go at fitting it, I'm not sure what the score is with mounting brackets although I'm sure a few people here will have had them fitted so they could likely tell you :)

Enjoy :)

Just get a deresonated catback system, that way you pass mot with no problems, you get a good sound and no need for mapping keep it simple and legal,

Reason I say this I got pulled by vosa had full decat down pipe the lot, they took my car off me as it was not road legal if they carried out mot, it's just not worth it mate, and I have seen it many times fitting a down pipe and decat actually causes problems and less bhp until a car has been mapped to accommodate the new upgrades
