How do you mean the centre pipe keeps coming of the backbox??

Im using a mk3 centre box and pipe on mine an everything is fine, just the constant knocking of the mount on the box/pipe with the mount on the car. So Im thinking of just making a straight bit of pipe for through the centre and a custom mount to stop any knocking.

you know where the centre pipe attaches to the backbox, the joint keeps coming off, even with a clamp, even had it spot welded, it bloody broke that too

doing my nut in, thanks craig :)

you would have a reducer as yours is a 1.4 right?

anyone with an ABF? [:@]

any pics please jenk, also it knocks on the side of heat shield (one by petrol tank)

it feels to me like it is short or something? does it need a reducer on a mk2 abf too?

worked sweet for me too - best clamps ever those and Bosal made the original so look out local suppliers for a bosal agent is best / GSF too

give em a tweak or two lining up though as there's a real sweet spot to stop it banging etc as the tunnel wasn't really designed for as large a pipe sadly

they are in shape and layout, odd one with different hangers (swap anyway) and watch the bore size

20vt on to an ABF was straight swap if you you use decent clamps ;) lol

lo Suj, been busy lately that's all

New Shed built after old one filled up
New Job found after old one dissapeared
New Welder bought with redundancy pay

will now be able to get some hotrodding done and get a decent trials bike
