oh ok then, that's good to hear you sorted your problem out too kezz :D

ok a little update, checked on bosal's site for the number, got it, rang a few places, including TPS, Seat etc

GSF was cheapest by nearly half the price

Bosal No: 265-459
Price: £6.93 each

so going to get 2 tomorrow (as i had a look, not even one between the cat and centre pipe, gonna borrow my mates axle stands etc and do it tomorrow :)

thanks to everyones help, just like the slam panel problem its hard to get info, would be clueless without this site :D

suj, if only we knew of this problem when i gave you the pipe as there is a brand new one in the shed that came off the exhaust in the 1st place.

hahah thanks phil, its always the case isn't it mate? no worries, £7 each ain't too bad, seat wanted £17 each lmao, he said "but they are genuine" so what, they better come with a mechanic to fit them at that price lol

yeah sam
the thing is, i have no sleeves on the whole exhaust system, so it is pulling it forward (shorter), so need to get them ASAP really

i am currently looking for a mk3 exhaust if anyone has/knows someone with one, cheaper the better, as it ripped off the pipe part that is welded to the backbox clean

so need one :)

i, mines got 1 of those sleeves were the centre pipe meets the back box pipe on between the 2 90degree bends and the 1 under the handbrake, tell you something else i noticed which was really pissing me off lol the mid box was banging off the bracket that goes below the exhaust at the front... it was on back to front lol so it might be worth checking that if anyone has banging from there. just sold my stainless oval box on ebay for £25 quid was nice exhaust but i wanted the quiteness the mk3 1 offers. piston heads for £25 delivered ftw

Have you heard how loud the 8v is with no boxes. My neighbours hated me for weeks! so I got a full standard system. Depending on manufactor depends if you need a sleeve or not. Bosal/Walker systems have a sleeve, Cheap systems like Timax etc don't and fit awful!
