The front end is completley different, of course. Turbo is different, diesel cat is different from petrol cat and petrol pipe has lambda probes in it.

As James says, there is a good chance the pipe diameters are different.

From the cat back the pipe runs are different, the petrol system has an intermediate silencer and different back silencer shapes and tailpipes.

The mounting points look to be in similar locations, but I'd not bet on it. Offer the petrol system up to the bottom of the car carefully and check out all the fitting points first.

I'd not try this unless I had a weekend free and a means of getting a proper TDI exhaust if the LC one didn't fit. Not sure why you'd want to do it in any case, there's no advantage I can see.

probably been offered one cheap....

i wouldnt bother imo, more hassle than is worth.

go for a custom rear box if you really want one.

the lcr box wont fit the cupra box, so the chance of the cupra fitting the diesel 110 is slim

i want to do it because i have got a lcr rear bumper and my tdi exhaust does not have a nice shiny tip. I need an alternative back box to attach. i saw a leon cupra back box on ebay so thought it might fit.

would one off a leon fr fit then? or any facelift diesel leon?

maybe a diesel one will fit...

why not jsut go custom rear silencer and have it properly made, probably be around the same price as a oem one anyway

cos i am a cheapskate. lol.
i feel i have spent so much getting all my lcr bumpers and skirts that more expense on an exhaust is painful for me.
i dont want a loud exhaust either.

i like the idea of this.
i wonder if i could cut off the downward facing parts of my exhaust and attach those screw on chrome tips you can get. The angle might be wrong though.

the screw on tips are pants mate, theyll work loose and fall off...

get someone to weld you one on, on for life then... aint gonna cost alot for a welder to attatch that on.

job done then

does anyone know the diameter of the pipe leading into the backbox on a leon cupra diesel. can get the backbox for £50.
need to know if this will fit 110 tdi. or can be made to fit.
Anyone done this?
