Hello.I have a problem with my Seat leon mk1 1.8t Topsport AUQ. Started last week i was driving and the Oil level came up with one beep.Color is Amber, runs sounds normal no leaks whatsoever, oil is full on dipstick. Its a very looked after car.Where should i start looking? If i open and close the bonnet it disappers, even when the car is running. Is it the sensor on the bottom? Thank you in advance :)

Heres a picture too

most likely the oil level sensor on the bottom of the sump, easy change over, you can either drop all the oil into a clean pan and reuse if its decent oil or just call it a part service and change the oil along with the sensor, or you could try the vacuum on the oil cap to keep the oil in while you change the sensor (i havent done this so not recommending but ive seen it countless times on youtube)

Thank you,its almost due to service anyway,do you have any aftermarket recommendation(i heard some sensors are quick to give up)or should i try to buy oem?

Gloss black looks cleaner and more premium when freshly washed, but matte black hides scratches and brake dust way better long term.

That said… black wheels on dark grey cars usually disappear into the tires. Bronze or titanium tends to pop way more.
what?😭

Can you check your car with VCDS to get some error codes? Maybe the oil pump is blocked? That would require to open the sump...

i got the best aftermarket one i could get my hands on,couldnt get Hella or Oem sadly
but it feels so weird,it only comes up after 100kms more or less, one beep light comes on if i pop the hood it disappers and comes back on after 100 something kms

If it was the RED light it would be oil pressure but a YELLOW one should be oil level. If VCDS show error G266 that should be the oil sensor. Could it be the wire? See if there is corroded pins on the plug. And what oil grade are you using? Too thick/heavy could afect readings.
