There’s no hole for the EGT… ? What’s the best option now—should I remove the turbo and swap it with a housing that has the EGT hole, or get it fixed with a software update?

There's no software update that I can see, only a couple of amateur maps I wouldn't want to risk.
Easier to get the right KO4-023 turbo I would have thought.
