If you're having grounding issues you should check all your earth straps and clean all the connections.

Thanks for the reply mate, I'm not experiencing any major problems but I do still have a high pitch buzzing noise through the speakers when the engine is running, this is usually down to a bad earth so I thought this might help it out? if not I'm not going to bother
 
Isn't that more of a Stereo problem than an issue with the engine wiring??

It can come from the alternator if it has a bad earth or if you run the speaker wires the same side as the power cables but I have checked/cleaned the earth on the alternator, I just wondered if there was any other options

Also I have tried supressing it but that didn't work either...
 
Whats the state of the rest of the alternator wiring??

The load wire can get pretty shagged so maybe it worth going over all of them to make sure nothing is frayed.
