Not a factory option but still available for a few moments work with thin wire, tar remover and detailing.
Probably better put back the Reg Plate but will use a plain, bordered style instead of the blue coloured GB EU logo and a huge dealer advert as supplied.
Did ask for no logo and border but was told No. I think it introduces another unnecessary colour (blue) which detracts.
Votes please: Hot or Not?

I agree about the number plate. But I'd personally keep the Leon model name. I don't get what's wrong with having your model and FR logo. Especially when people may confuse it with Ibiza :D

I can see mine ending up like that in the near future, though probably not by design... I keep getting the wash mitt/polishing cloth/drying towel caught on the corner of the 'N' of the LEON logo.

That or I'll have a SEAT LEO.

I asked for a non GB plate but was told it was already made in batches, I think they just couldn't be bothered.

I personally like how it shows Leon on the back.

So used to seeing the same font on numerous cars stuck in a corner next to the lights.

Looks nice having it centred and spaced apart.

That isn't an FR though, is it? The FR has the black plastic behind the number plate, the SE is colour coded, I think.

I was given the choice, but GB plates (which I didn't choose) were more expensive than non-GB plates and I would have had to pay the difference.

What on earth is the point of taking the badges off?

If you don't like them why did you buy a SEAT Leon?

Perhaps you would feel better sticking some BMW badges on.

I cannot believe what some people do to their cars!

Grow up!

Having debaged most of my cars over the last few years I want to let you know that it's not because I'm ashamed of the brands of the cars but because I like the clean minimalistic look.

If I was a case of sticking type r badges on a 1.4 then I would agree with the grow up comment but in this case I think that comment is a little hypocritical.

Actually I'm probably as grown up as I can be this side of the grave and I still like the debadged look.

It's up to the owner if they want to Debadge. People Debadged all makes of cars from fiat to ferrari. Just like all mods on cars some people hate some like. Each person has their own opinion. I prefer Debadged iv done it to all my cars looks much cleaner and smoother on the rear.

1. Personal preference.

2. When and where have you got the impression that OP has tried to downplay the Seat brand? If anything it stands out more being the only logo left on the car. Its still the same car even though the name isn't on the back LOL.

3. I refer you back to answer number 2

4. And some people can't believe others want to keep their cars standard, god forbid he get a re-spray huh?

And finally 'Grow Up' - This coming from someone who is a self proclaimed 'OAP Boy Racer'?
