I apologise for the title of this topic but its in the hope that SEAT customer care do actually read this forum as i have been told they do.

My car is a 56 plate Cupra TDi with not even 40k on the clock. The car seems to have a recurring problem with boost or rather the lack of it. The car comes out the dealers, works well for a while and then the same noise comes back, the whistle of a blown turbo and then the turbo starts cutting out. Not good when your mid overtake.

It has now been into my local dealership 6 times for the same problem and on these visits has had 2 x turbos, new intercooler, new intercooler pipes, new oil pipes,2 x EGR vlaves, new vacuum pipes.

SEAT UK sent a technical expert to diagnose the faults the past 3 times the car has been in and parts replaced as per their diagnosis.

Now guess what... Its in again. Seat dealer has done again all troubleshooting and now seat are saying they wont replace parts until once again their technical expert comes to look at it.

What can i do to get seat customer care and i use the term loosley to actually do anything about it?

BTW does anyone know of a time limit on rejecting a car?

If they are coming to look at it and it's under warranty then i doubt there is much you can do other than keep on at them to come out quickly. Have you asked them about having the ECU reflashed with software?

I have been told that all the vacuum lines have been changed as one was collapsed previously.

BTW that avatar is brilliant.

I dont have VAGCOM myself. My mate who has it plugged it in ona previous occasion and there was nothing stored.

The weird thing is the EML doesn't come on. I was mid overtake the last time and the thing just died on the wrong side of the road. Not fun.

Stopped at next layby and got it recoovered to the dealers. The area around the turbo was caked in oil and they replaced the oil line that they said had broken. How that happens i dunno.

I know how much these re-ocurring problems really P!$$ you off, But a t least they are doing something, Which is more than can be said for some manufacturer's , Who adopt the Head in Sand Mode.
