My suspension is very tired and needs replacing. Was thinking Cupra/FR suspension but general opinion is not great. Harsh ride etc... So I'm thinking fabia vrs might be a good compromise of being sportier than standard 1.4 TDi sport setup but still comfortable enough.

In my head it will literally be a case of taking my shocks/springs out and bolting the new Skoda stuff straight in? Pretty sure my anti roll bar drop links can take up to 30-40 mm drop and I should be well within that?

Top mounts and control bushes will be upgraded at same time

Any thoughts or something I'm missing?

Cheers

Should be a straight swap and a good compromise. I find even the standard sport setup to be a bit harsh and imagine the cupra is teeth shattering on UK roads. Personally I'd go for Fabia VRS shocks/springs with uprated PU control arm bushes. Check your engine /box mounts as well, even replacing with new stock mounts makes everything feel so much tighter.
