Hi all

so Im in the middle of retro fitting my new xenon headlights, got them bolted in and all working.. went to re fit the bumper and it just wouldn't fit, just ever so slightly out?? tried setting/adjusting the mounts but nothing? got it back on at one point but didn't look right against the wing.. so would these be the headlights to fit the facelift spec??

Well i brought them and they were just advertised as mk2 Leon headlights?? to be fair its that close Im thinking about taking the car to the body shop and have the front bumper slightly altered ... or can you get a face life btcc style bumper??

So is it confirmed that they changed the headlight design for the facelift then? I'm finding it hard to believe when the altea uses the same parts?

They facelifted the Altea too - so they probably both still use the same headlights, just different versions.
Having said that I'm not sure if they are different or not, but I think the consensus is that the facelift ones are.

Yes ... on FL cars they changed the front head lights.
They also changed the rear boot lid and light cluster.

Gutting ....because with FL-Lights =

New Bumper (Which you can get in BTCC...)

But you will also need new side wings to go with the FL Lights and FL Bumper

Pretty sure I seen it on piston-heads before 08 Leon FR spend £££ on it...(in Red)

Please correct this if I am wrong though :(

I think you may regret altering the bumper ... you will be better getting a FL one!!
How much has it cost you for the Xenon conversion??

Whats so good about those lights for nearly 400 pounds. Are they so much better than standard. If you went for looks you should of got those Dectane devil headlights for half the price
