Do the pd150's have a pcv valve? I quickly opened oil filler cap with engine ticking over and there seemed to be a bit of pressure, i wasnt expecting any as thought the breather got rid of the positive presure.

Pressure control valve I thought was the hockey puck on the TIP. Anyway when the small PCV valve in the T section is broken it can break the hockey puck valve as happened to me once. Once I replaced the small PCV valve my car was climbing revs (as well as causing fault codes - idle rpm higher than expected) steadily on idle and seemed to boost less. Replacing the puck fixed those problems.

You can also buy alu billet pcv valves online cheaply which I'm guessing you could clean with carb cleaner if they gunked up.

You wouldn't have a link for one of the alloy ones would you. Where did you get your hockey puck from also

Truthfully, I bought it from the US so it took a little while to arrive

Thing is my whole breather system was snapped in many places so was cheaper to buy a whole silicone breather kit from them which had the alu valve included plus all fixings. Worked out about £100 delivered

send them an email and ask if that alu valve will fit in OEM hoses if you like.

The cheapest option will be a plastic pcv valve and a silicone breather pipe segment, if you're short on cash.

The hockey puck I bought on ebay - they are also on amazon. Otherwise a seat dealer. I think mine was actually for an Audi A3 but it works really nicely. Maybe £30 but you shouldn't need one unless you get the problems I mentioned earlier, or if you think it may be gunked up.

Any questions on the 034 kit just ask. I don't think many people on here have used it and you have to do a small customisation similar to when fitting a catch can.......nothing difficult though

Cheers mate that's great . Thanks for the reply.

It's a pressure regulation valve part number is 06a 129 101 d - £24.72
Pcv valve part number is 035 103 245 a - £7.11

Replace both of these.
