hi everyone,

just had quote from awesome gti for carbonio and forge 007 all fitted for £358 on my 02 cupra. what do you think of the price? Seems quite high to me.

Wow whers the vasaline!
how much are parts all in £200? (Not sure on carbonio price) maybe speak to someone local to give you a hand.
On another note amd quoted my mate the same for his TT fitting a guage and air filter.

Carbonio is £165 and the DV is £72.45 according to Awesome's website.

Total £237.45 excl. VAT which comes to £279 after VAT

So the fitting is costing you £79 incl. VAT. If you think it's high then get some alternative prices and see how they compare to this figure. Alternatively, they're both pretty straightforward to fit yourself. :)

fit them yourself, it really isnt dificult, if you can change an air filter in its notrmal box, you can fit an induction kit. the forge is even easier, 3 clips off, 3 new clips on.

thanks everyone,
might try have a go myself then, or get some help. also had revo trial last weekend!really impressed, saving now for full version!

fitting the carbonio properly is a bumper off job - hence the time it takes to do it properly

carbonio is battery out, wheel and arch liner off at best

do-able yourself with the right tools

i found this to be easy as anything have now fitted two of them, no need to take off bumper or wheel liner guys..

Simply jack up the left side of the car move the horn bracket underneath and fit the cone to the carbon tube and slide it up from underneath when the battery is removed and original air bits and pieces, piece of piss!!!
