Fans running, engine temp normal

Sounds fairly normal but this has only just started to happen and it's never done it before

Do a run of 30 ish miles on the Motorway and a couplt through town, noticed the fans have started to run after the engine is switched off.

Do I need to be aware of anything abnormal happening??

Thats normal, mines do that espically after heavy driving.

Thats good to know mine has been doing that since I bought it but did not want to ask in case it was not normal - I have had enough problems with the garage and the car without more problems!

reason I ask is that it's never done it before, just wondered if anything might be on its way out ?

just to confirm - the fans start when the engine is "off"?!

My fans run a 'lot' more now I have a FMIC, I guess the air is a bit warmer and more restricted before it gets to the radiator as it now has to pass through the intercooler

I think so, it might be that I can hear them more after the engine is off, they only run for a short time. As I said before it's only just started happening recently.
