Anybody got a full list of fault codes as when I connected up tonight there where quite afew

16502 coolant
16497 air intake
17072 main relay
16486 mass air flow
17834 tank vent valve
16622 boost pressure
18010 power supply
17511 heater circuit
16514 bank 1 sensor 1

any pointers would be useful, and dont say fire it

thanks for that

for some reason 17072 P0688 main relay open circuit is not listed

here is the full list of the ones listed

16502 P0118 Engine Coolant Temp.Circ High Input
16497 P0113 Intake Air Temp.Circ High Input

16486 P0102 Mass or Volume Air Flow Circ Low Input
17834 P1426 Tank Vent.Valve Open
16622 P0238 Turbocharger Boost Sensor (A) Circ High Input
18010 P1602 Power Supply (B+) Terminal 30 Low Voltage
17511 P1103 O2 Sensor Heating Circ.,Bank1-Sensor1 Output too Low
16514 P0130 O2 Sensor Circ.,Bank1-Sensor1 Malfunction

now the next question is how do I resolve them?

want to get it started this week if possible, no spark atm, which are the faults that will stop the engine firing?

sorry about all the questions :)

Thanks Longman, Have printed all the details out and shall try to solve some of them today :)

Not going to break it yet, have faith MM

If your battery was running down, starting the car would produce some of those faults, clear them and run it for a couple of days (not flat out) then check again, id wager that most of them if not all, will be gone.

put the radiator on today and got the cutch working but still no spark with a fully charged battery:cry:

what is stopping the spark

Agree! Most of these codes are probably stemming from one (sounds like electrical) problem! Have you got the full vag-com so you can clear the codes down? These codes alone could prevent the car from starting if the ECU deems neccassary.

We cleared what we could with a snapon diagnostics the other night, with still no luck. Will get my friend to take another look at it though

Is there anyway to short circuit the system to get it to fire?
