Fault codes

HI, i tried one of those performance enhancing devices off ebay and it has brought up an electrical fault light. My car is still under warranty and wanted to remove this fault of off the computer.

Is there any way of resetting the computer?

Please help!!!

First mistake was buying one of them stupid things of Ebay!

if you have removed the device, and the car is running OK otherwise, it may well clear after a few starts, other wise you need someone with vag com see how it goes first.

If I remember from a recent discussion elsewhere, I think the fault light will go out after 12 or 15 starts when the fault has disappeared.

I know, would have preferred a proper chip, but it was a birthday present from my girlfriend!
