Faulty igniton switch, i think!

I have a 98 seat ibiza 14 8v. When I turn the ignition sometimes the car does not start and I just get the lights on the dash does not turnover.

I think it may be the ignition switch, does anyone have a how to on how to replace this.

or a dodgy starter solenoid ?

switch (electrical part is held in with a screw behind the barrel facing towards the keys

iirc need a puller to remove the barrel housing off the column to get at it but it's been a while so ill try and check later for ya

any ideas how I get to the ignition barrel - how do you go about getting to this.
