Hi was on way to work this morning when suddenly car started back fire and not running correct so i have come home on break plugged into vag com (not full version) and it only coming up with 16486 - Mass Air Flow Sensor (G70): Signal too Low
P0102 - 35-00 - -
now i know it need one of these as my car was not boosting correct so i unplugged it and it ran fine so i left it unplugged until this friday (pay day) obviously i had the engine management light on due to this but permantly was on, when i was driving home the engine light was flashing but still only the maf on engine faults? any body have an idea as to what this could be ? many thanks Arron

Get a new maf then see what happens. Unplugging the maf for long periods of time is not a good idea. You might find it has been running rich and you have done a lambda or something.

Brill thanks guys well i ordering new maf tomorrow am which will be with me same day £80 for genuine part plus £20 +vat back when i return old one and a new set of spark plugs, so will see what happens with that hope i corrects the problem

A flashing management light usually indicates coilpack failure.

Ah seems you where right there mate i have just fitted new maf and plugs not fixed it! now when i unplugged the coil packs one at a time while engine running one was not "clicking" so i have orderd 4 new oem ones @ £24 each from seat ;) i hoping this will cure it! while i was on i vag com'd it and under abs this came up
supply voltage terminal 30 16-10 signal outside specifacation - intermittent? ny ideas what that is ?
