Been on the Plymouth to Santander ferry many times when I was a biker (R1 and TL100s ) at a cost of £230 15 years ago.
Fancy doing it in the Ibiza to take it to its home land and enjoy those excellent roads but the cost is nearly £600 in a car.
However a new service from LD lines Poole -Santander is coming up at a reasonable £399 which makes it very tempting.
Would love to do the road up Ronda from the costa del sol again in the Ibiza.
Yes you could fly there for buttons but I want to take on the Spanish Ibizas in my UK modded car and show them who's the Daddy lol!
Anyone else done this trip?

Yes it's a long crossing but the boat will be set up to entertain you unlike the short channel crossings.
It was nice spending the afternoon sat on the deck catching some sun. It's basically a mini cruise so you need to sit back and enjoy it .

Why not drive? I drove to italy in september and was a fantastic experiance plus might be cheaper to drive and more of an adventure.

Yes it's possible but it would be 1600 miles each way so could be a endurance run rather than a leisurely holiday drive lol! Could compromise with a channel crossing over and the Santander -Poole for the return trip though.
