Got the chance of the 4 pot brakes from a fiat coupe turbo?
Basically, will they fit my cupra? Will i need different carriers made up? What discs would i run? And im guessing it would just be the fiat brake pads?

Edit: the calipers came off an alfa 147 gta, they came from the 305mm setup. So are these the same as the ICR brakes by any chance? Been offered them very cheap

Think it's the carriers and hoses you need. The carriers are £100 each iirc

The disc will diff aswell. The fiats are 4x98 and the hub depth is different iirc.

Look for some 4 pots fitted to mk2 golfs, corrados or old scrirocos.

Wish i could get a set of icr brembos haha. They are way too rare! Just really want to check out the options before going for a big money kit incase there is cheaper equivalents out there.
Want something up to the job but dont want to rush into spending too much money

Pretty good yeah, got the old turbo off and the hybrid, injectors and jbs on in about 6 hours. Waiting on my cage, brakes and wheels being delivered now. Just needs fluids and a few small things and should be ready.

Which cageyou ordered? One for a mk3? Only ones i could find were well expensive.

Problem is with the alfa brakes, one you start to include each part ( icr discs, lines, pads, custom carriers) it will still work expensive.
So then i could buy a big brake kit such as this one

Which includes everything i need?

What you all recommend?

Just bare in mind that the ICR discs get very hot on track, they're a weak point. I had to then spend stupid money on discs in order to *hopefully* resolve this. If I were to do it again I would bite the bullet and buy AP.

Yeah ive pretty much forgot aboutt hat idea now haha.
Going to look at some reviews on the hi-spec 4 pot kit. Looking at the kit with the same disc size as standard, but obviouly more pistons etc. braking force i would imagine should be sufficient?
Link above if you fancy giving your opinion?

The general feedback I got from RobbieC was that he wished he'd just bought APs instead of HiSpecs. Another mate bought a set for his Capri and was very disappointed, they look nice but I'm not convinced from the opinions I've heard. What's stopping you going AP?

Ok thats all i need to hear tbh.
Nothing really is stopping me going ap, i need to save for the right setup anyway so still just in the deciding stage. In around 1 month ill have the money for it.
I went onto the ap racing website and couldnt find a setup for my car though? Couldnt find for the ibiza or mk2 golf? If someone could point me int he direction id be very happy :)
