hey mate. about half an hour job per seat. depends how the runners work, grinding and welding skills...
i basically had to cut the runners off the original audi seats and get them into a secure, safe state.. by welding a long metal bar across the back of the runners to for a square shape.
i then unbolted the runners off the subaru seats and lined the audi runners up to the seat.
trick is to use a spirit level to make sure its flat first. tack the welds and test BEFORE fully welding it, as you may need to make modifications.
I found that aftermarker seats tend to sit higher because the original ones are very very low.
the subaru seats are the comfiest seats i've ever sat in! had them in my a4 before this lol
back seats are in, bit more work, but nearly thereits all fun and games... and who else can say that have 2005 subaru impreza seats in there audi a3?

Must admit I do like Scoobyseats. Can you modify anything cause though I've got Cupra R's in mine I wouldn't mind some Mk FR seats if they could be modified to fit. Not sure if they fit straight in but I was told not.
you can make anything fit. just depends how much time and effort your willing to put in.
i welded the seats in and then got them double checked by a garage. all seems fineso i'm happy!
Looks great, however I'm not so keen on all those stickers and the steering wheel!
Nice motor VAGerbond!
Whether people like the stickers or not is totally irrelevant.
For what it's worth, if you look beyond the stickers, they give it that vdub feel which in turn suits the overall vibe of the car.
I think she looks all the better for it as it's yet another different style which is difficult to achieve with such a specific car as the Leon.
Like it dude & good on ya for starting a RR thread.
EDIT: forgot to say, love the wheels - inside & outside!
...There will always be people who don't like stuff we do but they won't be driving it. lol

You're absolutely right. I guess there's nothing wrong with stating an opinion, as bad one's have to come with good one's or else what's the point.
I just think that it's too easy to merrily type away when you don't know someone, when you have nothing positive to say. But then if we were all the same, life (& forums) would be pretty boring huh?!
There's plenty of motors on here which aren't to my taste but so what, it's not MY car & I won't be the one driving it. But whether I like a car or not I always appreciate the effort & time that the owner has put into it. So good on ya fella & here's to being different!![]()
Cheers. did you get my post about your lock??
