So after hitting a partly repaired Drain in the road in Derbyshire in December 2023 I finally got a replacement wheel and tyre from the council 18 months later.
Actually split the wheel as per photos below, luckily managed to get a replacement on Facebook marketplace the next day to keep me moving and pushed the council all the way who tried every tactic possible from paying out,
finally a letter before action threatening to go to court got them moving so my advice if this happens to any of you is keep pushing, email every day at least 3/4 times - they don’t give a number to call so you have to be a right pain in the backside.
will shortly be listing one of the wheels I bought if anyone is after one and I’ll keep one in the garage just in case………..
