So finally, after weeks of listening to feeble excuses and lies from KW in Germany, the KW v3's have finally arrived and are fitted. what a disappointment though, while the front has plenty of travel the the rear is currently on it's lowest setting, not what i'd expect for coilovers of this standard... it i wanted this ride height i could have settled with just springs...
I'm thinking maybe they're the wrong ones? What ride height are others getting with the Kw V3 Coilovers?

Me personally I think it sits perfect how you've got it set to now, both front and rear look the perfect ride height.

yeah i'm kinda happy with the height as it is but i would have expected more travel on the rears should i have wanted to go slightly lower.. the ride quality is spot on though..

Crafoo on here has Eibach sportlines and his sit as low as yours. I would have thought there would be some adjustment on them. I know Jarre also has coilovers and I'm sure his at the back aren't all the way down and his are the same heigh I would say.

Will try get pics.

Tbh neither the KW or the Bilstein B16 are really designed for a slammed "stanced" look.....they obviously do drop the ride height quite a lot but my Eibach Sportlines dropped my car much more than my Billies.

Coilovers in the higher end price range are all about excellent ride comfort and handling. They never drop low enough to give a good slammed look but it's still good enough for everyday driving.

This is why quite a few people go for the budgets like the JOM's or FK Street's. Yeah they don't feel like the expensive stuff, but if you can sacrifice a little ride comfort for them extra lows then you can't go wrong for the price of them. Just make sure with the budgets you keep them greased up to avoid seizing.

Car looks great though, i've always been a 'slammed' person with all my cars especially having air ride on my last car. But with my K1 it's a bit different and i'd rather have a height like yours for everyday use. It looks spot on IMO! :)
