Model Year 21/22 Firmware OTA v1989 apple carplay bug

Has anyone else had issue with the virtual cockpit display not updating the album/song metadata? Anyone knows how to fix it? Which firmware version is the latest for the 22' formentor 310hp?
I was on v1969 before receiving this OTA update 3 days ago, unfortunately it ended up breaking my carplay metadata....

I think it's 1989 sw now, it's update in the UK has popped up this month for me.

Yeah I did that update OTA, everything except album art and song tracks dont update properly via apple carplay...

has anyone found any solution or do we just wait for cupra to send out another ota update that fixes this hopefully?

Hi all,

I have a new bug that started recently, though I am not sure if it is related to the iOS update, or the recent OTA infotainment update. Both were updated in the same week.

I start the car, connect the cable (not wireless), apple car play starts normally, but the sound doesn't work - spotify, phone calls, nothing. I need to restart the infotainment and then it is OK.

This happens 50/50, no rule (that I noticed). It can be OK 2 or 3 times in a row, then 2 or 3 times it doesn't work...

Anyone had anything similar?
