Firmware update 1692 to 1969

I'd like to update the firmware from 1692 to 1969 on my Leon with hardware 56. I imagine I'll have to go through several steps. Can anyone tell me if it's possible to do it myself? If so, can someone explain how to do it step by step and where to download the various versions?
the dealer asked me 200 euros for the update Thanks a lot.
