The BHP is only slightly more than what they were running before, but the power delivery is much better and the torque figures are huge.

They are struggling now with the tyres, as feared.

Bit more than I expected actually, but again the power delivery is totally different. Look at the max power versus rpm

Distribution Two overhead camshafts, 16 valves.
Displacement 2.000 cc
Bore x stroke 81x95,5 mm
Maximum power 280 CV a 4000 rpm
Maximum torque 450 Nm a 2500 rpm

WTCC - Petrol

Type 4 in-line
Displacement 2.000 cc
Cylinder block Steel
Output 260 bhp at 8500 rpm
Aspiration Atmospheric

Superb 1-2 result, would of been nice to see Tarquini up there too. But strong opening race for SEAT.

BMW's will likely be stronger in Race 2 later, from a standing start.

Something interesting comparing the petrols and deisels. Look at their best lap times...TDIs are a second quicker in general.
