I've just paid £219.99 which included an engine flush and an aircon flush (recommended by the stealers/SEAT). They did it while i waited and it took 1hr and 20mins

Dam i knew i should have put in more foreplay with the sales woman!
Well I phoned my local garage (Aberdeen) and was told - 2 weeks waiting list and cost a grand total of £195.....I was like WTF....I don't mind the wait but what's the £195 for?.....oil and filter change...oh and they would wash the car inside and out.......not like I don't keep my looking stunning at all times....don;t want them touching it and scratching the paint, oh and they would check my tyre wear and pressures on a car with built in tyre pressure gauges......and I can plainly see I will need to order some new tyres soon.
So told them to stick it and phoned Seat Fife....£140 for the same and they will do it next Saturday morning for me.....I don't understand how it can be sooo different in price.

Thats where i got mine done @ £125 in april, seems to have gone up a little but they do wash and hoover as well.

£80 awsome gti - who needs a seat stamp means nothing when your getting same oil and still sell the car in the end .
There are advantages to having it done at Seat....
For example if your turbo goes 2 months out of warranty technically they don’t have to do anything, but you may find your more likely to get a "GOOD WILL" gestures when you use the dealer.

just want to point out all the people who have free services and have posted to gloat....hahaha!
first service is oil and filter change only with a health check - shouldnt need to pay anything over 150 thats what i charge people for 1st services
