They are very good but only for the 210/225 engines. Replacing the TIP and fitting a open filter is a good starting point.

700+ seems ott for an exhaust..maybe if your paying miltek prices but not custom. All together my exhaust cost me 550quid, and that a 3" pipewerx dp and de-cat, and then straight into a 2.75" from ther to the back. Got it done at powerflow, and jus a simple light turn off with vagcom will turn the engine light off.
On the other hand you will need an air filter and a 007 dv.., the tip is optional on a stage 1, but a must on a stage 2

also a stage one map is a generic remap as in one size fits all, as the car left the factory it was set up to run on all grades of fuel in all climates. A stage one tunes the fuel/boost/ignition so that the engine runs more efficently hence makes more power but is still leaves room for improvement.
A stage two is a full custom remap meaning that everything is tuned to suit that particular car, as we all know two cars even if they rolled of the line after each other are not the same, so you CAN have a stage two on an otherwise standard car and it would improve the gains over a stage one, but for the extra cost involved for the extra 4-5 hp it would make, it's not really worth it and is better used when FMIC's, exhausts and filters have also been fitted.

thanks for all the info guys!! helped me out alot....i pick her up tomoro (fingers crossed) ordered a induction kit and got a cambelt kit and water pump so that will keep me busy for a little while till i get some spare cash for the map.

Once again thanks!! :)

Very helpful thread. Saved me asking the same questions. Just torn between a Remap or a Jetex Filter and Forge oo7P first. Not a bad problem to have though.
