The removal of the door inner panel(s) is quite tricky, especially as the window regulators are part of the door ‘card’ instead of being inside the door as expected.

Three screws to release to remove the grab handle.
Then remove the central trim area of the door card- just prise out.
Drop the side window glass a couple of inches to expose the bolt heads of the clamps that grip the glass. Loosen these a little.
Pull the window up, and secure in its fully closed position using tape etc.
Then remove the other 2 screws which secure the window regulator rails to the door interior.
Unbolt the door lock by removing bolts (2) in the side of the door.

Now you can loosen the 2 screws along the bottom of the door and push the door card up and out at the bottom and slowly and carefully pull the door card away- including the door lock/actuator and the two window regulator guides.

Then switch the connections from the old lock-actuator to the new one. These are the cable from the external door handle, the cable from the internal door handle and the electrical plug.

The lock/actuator has a flexible plastic clip to locate it which allows the device to be flexible enough to push back inside the door whilst attached to the door card-along with the window regulators. Ensure the clamps fit over the window edge in the same way they did before removal and tighten them.

Once the door card is refitted- by pushing up from below, with the bottom slightly outside- then the bottom can be pushed in: the 2 bottom screws screw into two metal hook-like structures at the bottom of the window regulator rails, and the bottom screws can be tightened when the door card is pushed up and in, and the plastic panel is flush with the metal door.
Remember to replace the two screws which secure the window regulator rails to the metal interior of the door.
Remember the two bolts that secure the lock /actuator from the side. This obviously makes solid the lock ….. the flexible plastic clip which attaches it to the door card is only to support it when everything is being fitted back into the door.

Then replace the trim panel and the grab handle and reconnect the window switch.

It’s a bit tricky- but it’s possible if you are patient.
