Fitting a chip to a 180 cupra...

Afternoon all, my first post and straight in with the questions!

I have bought an upsolute tuning chip for my friend who has an early 180 cupra and was wondering how easy/difficult it is to swop/fit the chip?

I'm also going to be fitting a RaidHP induction kit to it at the same time so any advice on that is also appreciated!

no idea mate why not ask if one of the tuners near you would fit it?

if its the ecu its easy enough, as quickly as you can get the scuttle panel off , wipers off and swap it in, then use vagcom to reset the ecu for that car. if its only the actual prom itself, contact simon coe who deals in upsolute, he'll probably fit the prom for a fee (its a skilled job)

Its the actual little computer chip that was in another 180 cupra so does that mean that if I get to the ecu (which sounds easy enough) then its just a case of unplugging one chip and plugging in another?

I may have access to a Seat workshop so resetting the ecu shouldnt be impossible if its needed..

Also what does prom mean and how can I get hold of simon coe?

in laymans terms, this is similar to a prom

this is an ecu (a toyota one before any smart coments, they all look similar to the uneducated)
