I am planning on a new set of wheels soon and D90's are right up there.

Is it a hassle to make them fit? Is it just an adapter to make them fit?

You need 5x130 > 4x100 adaptors, probably 25mm thick depending if you're going for 8's all round or 6's/7's. A lot of sets on ebay / edition38 come with adaptors anyway as they are off golfs and polos etc.

You will need new wheel bolts aswell as the thread in the adapter is bigger than the standard thread in an ibiza hub.

Porsche d90's require radius seating wheel bolts, i think the thread size is m14 x 1.5. You have to be carefull on the lenght aswell but this depends on what size adapters you have etc.

is that the right size of wheel bolts i would need to fit my D90's? i have 25mm adapters with 7" front and 8" rears going on

D90's on your's Ross? Id've thought your car was a bit too 'motor sport' look, for what is seen as a more 'euro' look wheel? Jus my opinion of course...

very easy really 22mm 5*130> 4*100 adapters i run 7.5 up front and 9 rears same for 7fronts and 8 back as my m8 has a set on his and no rubbing and it is slammed more than mine

This thread was before i got it painted mate!

Was toying with the idea of selling the bonnet and going euro.

A gunmetal colour with polished D90's is still playing in my mind lol

But concentrating on power now! Although anthracite d90's could look ok on the car. The exterior is staying the way it is for a while anyway.

what are you doing with the wheels on it now.???

are they going to be i the for sale section any time soon...

If the D90s take M14 bolts and the standard hubs are M12 does this mean you have to purchase adaptors that bolt into the hub, with the wheel bolts attaching only to the adaptors (i.e. the H&R ones)?

personally I have BBS RC's which actually take M14 bolts, but because I have hubcentric spacers and the rims fit firmly on them, I use M12 bolts. Not a problem at all.

you could also opt to buy inserts from ebay, which will change the wheel hole from M14 to M12

I will do my best later to remove a bolt and measure it. Just checked my ebay and the ebay listing is too old so cant check that.
I'm running 20mm spacers and found that the mercedes bolts i used were nearly too long for them.

Right............. the wheel bolt measure 49mm long (the whole bolt including the head) and the thread measures 24mm. I use these on 20mm adapters so if your using bigger adapters then i'm sure they would be fine.
