The Kufatec loom will be as if it was factory fitted, wired into the fuse box as it should be, i wouldn't mess about with non factory switches just bite the bullet and get the OE ones.

vagcat.com

get switches for a lhd. if you go for rhd you will need to change the rear demist switch and parengers airbag light

Here you go mate, 1M1963563 L/H/S , 1M1963564 R/H/S there is only one part number for these switches you cant chose LHD or RHD. These following part numbers for the rear window demist, the first one is for a normal on/of switch the second is for the timed version which goes of on its own after about 15 mins, its a bit more expensive but its worth it, (IMO) 1M1941503-Normal/RHD 1M2941503-RHD/timer

sorry mate. phill is right there are only type of heated seat switch. i got muddled up lol

but ya you will need to change the rear window demist, and as phill said the timed one is the way to go. no worries about leaving it on then!! you will also need to replace the passengers airbag light warning to keep it looking factory fit. part no is 1M1919235A

Guys i was trying to find a pinout for the plug under the S3 seat (green one) there are 4 wires coming to it but it seems that only 2 wires are connected to anything
Does any one have a pinout for those ?

LOL I take it you didn't read post #44, you can only get RHD switches if you want heated seats you will have to get the RHD switches as both my self and Sean have said a couple of posts back, complete with part numbers.

Yep thats what i found, but to spread the pain abit you can fit the rear window de-mister upside down untill you get the correct one.

There is only one set of part numbers listed for the heated seat switches and they are RHD.

Is that right the only part numbers for them are right hand drive?
Ive found a set from the part numers you gave me (cheers :) ) from a company, think it a breakers, in sweeden. £40 posted :)
Butihavehad to ask ifje can confirm theyre LHD orRHD

The will only fit to the right hand side of the dash so you will need to move the rear window demister and airbag warning to where the cup holder is, as below.

So left hand drive ones wudnt just fitto the other side then?
Where u have the window demist and the blanking plate.

They dont do any LHD switches all Leons with heated seats have the switches there, the blanking plate is from the early leons without air bag switches and i got the window demister from the main dealer its about £35 look on Sere Motors page and ask Dave for the latest price.

Ok well thats good to know, im gunna order these ones from sweeden then, as they oviously drive left hand drive cars outrhere the seller is unable to confirm thatthey are LHD or RHD, if theyre all the same ive gotnothIngto worry aboutthen happy days :)
Cheers for all your help guys, apreciate it

Hi guys i've been after heating my car for ages now and have just got hold of some heated seats and i'm now seriously wanting to get these wired in, i was thinking about using audi a/s3 switches but dont't know if they'll fit, was also thinking that i could use everything thats needed, does abybody know if they will fit?

thanks

I think there is a chance they will fit as the dash in the Leon is almost the same as the A3 but getting a set for a reasonable price could be tricky, the part numbers are slightly different.

Audi-8D0963563C (LHS)
Seat-1M10963563 (LHS)

Here you go i found these they look the same as mine, just remember you will need the LHD rear window de-mister, the part number is listed in a earlier post.
