Fitting S3 strut brace to leon cupra

Quick question.. Ive just bought a s3 strut brace to put on my Leon cupra.. I know it needs a small mod and the holes drilling..but was wondering what nuts and bolts people were using for it? And when doing the mod do people just cut that bit down or cut a full section out the brace? Or if anyone had a pic any help would be appreciated lol..

Stupid question but why does S3 brace need tweeking, got one on my VRS bolts straight on, used M10X25 with nylock nuts, don't forget to treat the holes you drill,

Because on the Leon the bonnet strut/damper hits the brace on the passenger side... Need to cut a little bit out so that the strut still closes without hitting the brace

Used some Yellow Hammerite I had lying around, not an identical match but you can't see it under the brace.
