FK Coilovers

Fitted my FK Highsport coilovers which i purchased from Awesome GTi, this morning...

Bearing in mind i have standard wheels, it has completely transformed the handling and ride on my Cupra got the ride height about 40 or 50 mm lower.

I would recommend them to anyone for the price and effect on the car.

Top marks Awesome for supplying it took 2 days to deliver get in.

Only problem is my tyres are only going to last about 2 months because all corners have to be taken at max speed.

All i need to do is stop the bloody milltek exhaust knocking. and i will be proper chuffed.

Before: Clean car! After: Filthy! Looks good btw. I was curious to see how my mk3 would look after fitting them. I think ive made my mind up now into getting some. How is your exhaust knocking? Maybe u need some new mounts?

its most likey his exhaust is knocking because it is now resting on the rear beam

i have the same problem, mine was much lower than urs when i first fitted the shocks, i raised it abit at the front and more on the rear cos i was sick of the exhaust rattling and "bottoming" out

i also have the front spltter which can be a nightmare

ull be able to fit shorter exhaust mounts from another car or poweflex but i havent had a great look into this cos mine isnt bad

Coolio, i've got some silverline X's to get fitted, and i think i'll replace the exhaust hangers too.
My exhaust bangs when flooring it out of roundabouts.

Replaced all of my exhaust hangers when i changed my suspension and exhaust. No banging whatsoever and mine's -70mm.

If your fitting then yourself its dead easy took me and a mate 3 hours, a local garage quoted £150.

I have done it before but with just lowering spring, coilovers are easier only bad bit was the standard strut top Allen key size was 7mm or something, i did not have one so grips round the old damper soon fixed that .

The one night i had them on the bedroom floor was just to much i had to have them fitted before another night passed.

Think i shall get some new hangers CupraT, what sort are they and were did you get them from?

I have been looking around trying to decide what suspension to get and i think i have decided but just need to find out which is better out of these four?

Highsports, Konigsports, Silverline or Silverline X?

On the write up it looks like Highsports are similar to Silverline and Konigsports are similar to Silverline X (just on the write up you just posted?)

Highsports are only height adjustable but not stainless steel
