sounds good to me,

unfortunately track days took there toll on my front tyres i have 3mm of tread left after about 9k miles.

which isnt bad imo. they were a good tyre.

Better than the 452 by all accounts and it's what i'll be changing to once mine wear out :)

I'd think twice about them mate, I wasn't over impressed with the 912 in comparison.

They have been about for as long as the 452 and appear to be a lesser model.

Hankook Evo's seem much better to me ;)

I'v just replaced all my 912's with 452's today. Got them all from Camskill, they seem the cheapest. Cant comment on the 452,s as i've only just got them but the 912's were a bit scary in the wet!

AFAIK the 912's replaced the 512's, the 452's are still current.
The 912's are more of an all rounder, bit harder compound and longer lasting (I hope) than the 452's.
I've recently changed from 452's to 912's for economic reasons and they're good enough for my driving style, such as it is, but they do complain more than the 452's did on occasions.

camskil is the cheapest place i have found to get tyres, iv got a pair of 16" 452's and they are excellent tyres, much better than the hankook evo v12's that they replaced, i wore out the hankook's in 7k miles which was quite annoying

12K is all i got out of the 912's on the front, i found they wore down the middle very quickly, (i check tyre pressure weekly). Think i should have swapped them round at about 8K. Good for fuel economy though, no problem getting 45-50mpg on a daily 15 mile commute.
