Flip key help!!

I know there is loads of threads on this and I've been looking for ages and cant finde the answer.

I've got a mk4 2004 ibiza cupra, a new flip key off ebay with the part number - 7M3 959 753F. SHOULD THIS WORK?

I cant get it to program to the central locking, I've tryed for ages with the instructions that came with it and the instructions out of the threads.

Can anyone help with programing it to the central locking please?

IIRC then that is the one for the alhambra and mk2 and mk3 Ibiza and WONT work with the mk 4 ibiza

Doh!! So which one do I need for the mk4 then?

here are 3 that should deffo work

1JO 959 753 A is 433mhz 2 button
1JO 959 753 AG is 434mhz 2 button
1JO 959 753 AH is 433mhz 3 button (boot button will only work on mk4 ibiza not the leon)

there are others that will but you can search to find out which

When you say that the boot button works with the Ibiza, can this be used to controll a boot opening solnoid?

it means that if you press the boot button the boot will unlock and the alam disarm. then will lock and re-arm when you shut it

i believe that someone has managed to get it to work with a LCR so should work with a mk4 ibiza

so is it the first set of letters or the last set of letters that count?

Guys - few things
1J0 959 753 A is 433mhz (round shaped buttons) and will work only for older models up to 2001
1J0 959 753 A is NOT!!!! comatible with 1J0 959 753 AG.
1J0 959 753 AG = 1J0 959 753 CT 434 mhz - 2 buttons (square).
it is for models form 2002 onwards. it is compatible with horse shoe keys even they are marked 433mhz!!! (it has to be checked in ETKA via VIN)
1K0 959 753 G is for CAN comunication cars. (it may work with ibiza mk 4 but boot button will not work) This remote is designed for CAN cars like ibiza MK5 (2008 - onwards) and Leon MK2 2005 - onwards.
ALWAYS COMPATIBILITY SHOULD BE CHECKED VIA VIN IN ETKA. Do not buy keys as you think they will wokr unless you have to much money. Key must be correct one otherwise it will not work.
Hope it will help some of you to avoid purchasing wrong key.
