They are expensive, it works out the same if not cheaper to get a flip key, my original key is coming apart at the top hence why it needed replacing, so im just using it as a reason to go flip :D
 
It also depends heavily on which dealer you ask.

I got the remote part of my flip key for about £50 from SERE Motors and then got a blank blade and bottom half off ebay for £12. A fiver to get it cut, and then just swap the immobiliser chip from the old key into the new key. Job done.
