Hi all,
I went away last week for 9 days and left the side mirrors folded in. When I returned the battery was flat.

Jump started it no problem but my electric mirrors wont fold back out. I can't hear any motor whirring at all. The mirror adjustments still work perfectly but they wont fold in and out any more.

Any ideas?

SEAT LEON Mk1 2002 1.8 20V T

Thanks,
Ben

Try a few times with ignition on, then tirn ignotion off then turn knob to open mirrors then turn ignition on. Mine some timesdoes that and flicking the switch round with ignition on and off some times registers it.

Thanks guys, it has sorted itself out. Started the car with the dial in 'fold-in' position and despite already being folded in it whirred alot then clicked into position. Weirdly the left-right selctor doesn't work properly anymore. Instead when trying to adjust only the right wing mirror they both move. When adjusting the left only that moves. Bizarre but not something I will lose any sleep over.

Thanks again,
Ben

did the same to mine recently had the battery off just leave the ignition on and them in the open position, will soon start working again

It's supposed to do that ;)

Set up the driver's mirror first, then the passenger one - when you make any future adjustments to the driver's one the passenger one will copy the movement so you don't have to :D
