Well i had a go at this, i wired the relay in as per the wiring diagram, as i understand it (please tell me if i am wrong) i contacted the wires to the connectors behind the trim by the bonnet release lever;

4- Live
5 - to connector 2 on the plug
6 - to Earth
8 - to connector 1 on the plug
12 - to connector 6 on the plug
14 - to connector 5 on the plug

But the wire colours don't match and as it turned out neither do the connector numbers, all i managed to do was blow the interior light fuse although this also knocked out the remote locking, i put my door lock back in and the central locking still worked so i must be in the right area. Electrics is not my best area tbh, but some how i need to find out how the Leon differs from the Golf, if i can play with the connectors and only blow fuses then i am happy to do so but i don't know if i could end up permanently damaging something else?? a wiring diagram of the Leon and the Golf would be useful to compare, if anyone else can help please let me know.

Colours:
br = braun = brown
ro = rot = red
sw = schwartz = black
li = lila = purple
gn = grün = green

Note that the diagram is for a Passat, so won't necessarily conform to Golf loom standards

Cheers Guy's. Karaman; If that's for the Leon then it should work, it looks a bit more involved than the other one, don't suppose you know what the "Rele inversor 12v 30A"are do you?

rele' inversor might be relay inverter with fuse 30a!!i'm just supposing that,i'm not sure....

Google translate says "inverter relay", in other words the contact is made by default and is broken when the relay coil in energised. 30A will be the contact rating.

This diagram looks a lot simpler than the Passat one, and looks like it has all the right connections to make it work. I don't know where you fit the two relays though.

NO. Unlike Muttley i think the Spanish diagram is a lot more complicated, it consists of more components, of which i dont know if they are excisting ones or ones i need to get. the German ones shows all the wiring that is present but it doesnt corespond with the Leon so not helpfull, also considering what i have spent its probebly cheaper to get the reflex kit.

Normal single press unlock the driver's door and unfolds the mirrors.

A second click unlocks the other doors.

A quick double-click unlocks all doors, unfolds the mirrors and then drops all the windows (great in summer when the sun has been cooking the leather!)

Out and shut the door, single close click will fold in the mirrors and close ALL open windows.

Had it on the car for years (easily 5+) with no issues. It keeps the switch functions as normal so you can still adjust and fold. :funk:

*ahem* ;)

2-4 hours the instructions say, how long did it take you?

Christ now you're asking.... :think: that sounds about right tbh, you need to run a cable from the driver's door behind the dash to the passenger one to intercept the signals, but aye 2-4 hours seems to be right :)
