Folding wing mirrors.

The other day as I was just about to go home from work I decided to test to see if the folding wing mirrors, when folded, bleep if you started to move away to drive... They didn't.. I wonder why SEAT didn't either 1) make the folding mirrors fold back out once a key was put in the ignition (ok, so sometimes you may not always want them to come out when the key/engine is turned on for e.g if parked in narrow garage) or 2) have a warning beep if you begin to drive away with them folded...

Just a very minor niggle, just maybe something to think about in the future..

Oh and I was reading a few weeks back about the steering wheel controls for the cd/radio etc and that there are no lights illmuminating them in the dark, has anyone looked further into whether something could be done? Although saying that, it is quite easy to locate the right button none the less.

ive tried removing the controls and looking but couldnt get them out also i am not sure if there is an ilumination wire going to them but im sure if you got behind them and installed bulbs from the leon one (if the ibiza has bulb holders in them) then ran a wire from the radio illumination feed they would work fine, i might look further into this soon so if i get anywhere ill let you know

why don't the mirrors fold on the remote ie lock/unlock????

it's bloody annoying when street parked, the last thing i do before opening the door is check the mirror but when folded in prior to switching off ignition, you cant !
