I have heard that when you get your lcr remapped you need to upgrade the spring in the forge 007p, some people on this site seem to have not needed to do this. how can i tell if i need to do this ?

I went down to Forge today and bought a spring kit and swapped the std green for yellow - the surging has stopped 99% now and the only thing i did was change the spring.
I think the idea is that the green one can't always stand up to the extra psi in a remapped car and can't keep the valve closed, so it dumps the boost prematurely. It hasn't happened to everyone though.
1 question to the man from forge though is how do I use the spacer thingies that the kit comes with - it says its like a halfway stage between two springs?
