oh. i paid more than that from euro car parts.!! i'll have to get down there tomorrow.!! sweet. :)

lol, I tried to find a use for it but failed miserably.

May mould it into the wheel arch liner to vent the intercooler though :cartman:

my brother just got a new cooker and hood i might have to rob him. :)

filter problem sorted, just ordered a ash cone filter with a 220bhp rating, matching oil breather and got em both for £25, worth a try for that money, also ordered my forge 007p, dean at awesome sorted it with the fitting kit delivered for £80 so top guy, black with awesome engraved in the back of it, looks pretty trick! should be whooshing by the weekend ha ha

Had one of the viper type kits on the lcr when i got it, took it off and put a jetex cone on sounds better and has better air flow the other seemed very small and cramped to say it was for the car.

iv steered away from them now, gone for a big dirty cone filter, see what thats like, appreciate the help lads. iv just found an oil leak while checking my dv but no idea where its coming from, theres oil spray all over the radiator fans and engine side of the airbox breather hose, any ideas???

I have the Viper kit on my LC at the moment - dono what the Dia. is - but its bigger than a standard 57i for instance, looks about the same as your jetex ones. Does this sound about right as your saying about them being restrictive inside due to a smaller cone? Mines off a Clio Trophy, so a 2L engine, so its a bit bigger than a normal one.
Coupled with the direct air feed surely this would be better than just an open cone, espec to reduce heat soak?

Or would a Jetex / Neuspeed cover guard be a better option?

Everyday / track use car. Love the Viper on the track, but sucks up so much crap on the road and also rain going straight in, into the engine - room for concern??
